The event was attended by Ferrari’s top executives and VIP clients, and showcased the best of classic and brand new Ferraris! SM Event Group managed the entire production, utilizing an LED dance floor and staging combination to provide a truly unique modern lighting design. Additional services included providing modern lounge décor, custom VIP rooms, and a full A/V setup featuring an LED video wall and concert sound for a special performance by the legendary Gloria Gaynor! DJUSA kept busy Labor Day weekend with over 20+ events in the tri-state area. One of the events was a full day wedding at the Hyatt in Greenwich, Connecticut. Both DJUSA and it’s affiliate company – SM Event Group were in full production mode for this exclusive wedding. DJUSA was onsite early in the morning with a dhol player and mobile baraat van pumping the music as the groom rode on an elephant for his arrival to the venue. The wedding ceremony quickly followed with an elaborate décor of enchanted garden theme with DJUSA’s supreme lighting. DJUSA’s very own DJ Sharad and MC Marco rocked over 400 guests on the dance floor the entire night. DJUSA also provided lighting, projection screens and a white dance floor to add to the glitz and glamour of this exclusive wedding. SM Event Group provided leather tufted bars and white draping to tie into the white and gold décor theme of the wedding reception. Check out pics from this one of a kind wedding! |

DJUSA’s very own one man show, DJ Kaz was selected to be on Fox 5’s TV show "Friday Night Live," which is a syndicated program nationwide. Kaz recently appeared on the show with Mario Cantone, who played a role on the popular series Sex in the City. We asked Kaz how the experience was, and he replied, "it was an amazing experience to be a DJ and host on Live TV. My adrenaline took over and I was just myself." Fox producers and hosts said they are planning to bring back DJ Kaz if the pilot show gets extended.

2014 marked the 10th year of The Tedsmooth Old School Jam (OSJ) in East Harlem. OSJ is organized by our good friend and supporter DJ Tedsmooth. This event takes place during the summer months at P.S. 96 in Manhattan. Attendees ranged from East Harlem locals to hip hop royalty, with some of the planet's most talented DJs making appearances. DJUSA provided custom sound and DJ booth, outdoor furniture, and assisted with event promotion. Festivities include dance shows, recreational games, free giveaways, live graffiti showcases, and more. DJUSA’s very own DJ Sharad has deep personal ties to this event, stemming his love of hip hop culture and his desire to give back to the community.

The Greater New Jersey Chapter of NACE (National Association of Catering & Events) hosted “The Big Fat Indian Wedding” on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 6-9pm at The Terrace in Paramus, NJ. Fellow NACE members and event professionals networked and previewed the brand new Terrace Ballroom and attended a panel discussion from leading industry experts on South Asian Weddings and it’s recent phenomenon in the wedding world! Featured speakers at The Big Fat Indian Wedding included DJUSA’s very own DJ Sharad, Elizabeth Priya Kumar from Premini Events, Sharda Shenoy from Elegant Affairs, Damion Edwards from Damion Edwards Photography, and Payal Mehta from Arora Hospitality Group & Moghul Caterers. They shared their professional experiences, identified what the trends are for 2015, and explained how business can grow from learning more about the Indian culture!

DJUSA will be a platinum sponsor at St. Mary's 2nd Annual 5K Fall Classic Run/Walk in Rockland State Park on Saturday, October 11th. St. Mary's Indian Orthodox Church, located in Suffern, NY strives to make a difference in and around the communities in which members live, work, play, and worship. The congregation is comprised of over fifty families, many of them young adults and children. The Church plans events that allow its members to become positive, strong, and active members in the community. As part of DJUSA's sponsorship, DJUSA will be providing the DJ for the charity event. DJ Robby Chackoflavz rocked the crowd last year, and will be back to rock the house this year. DJUSA is honored to be part of the St. Mary's 5K Fall Classic Run/Walk 2014!

On Sunday, October 19th, DJUSA's Family & Friends - Elizabeth (Lizzie) Savours, who is in the 8th Grade, and her mom, Debbie Savours, will be Making Strides Against Breast Cancer sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Lizzie and her mom will be doing a 5-mile walk at Jones Beach. Their goal is to raise $2,500. They are walking in memory of those who have unfortunately been lost to breast cancer, and to raise money for research to hopefully develop a cure for not only breast cancer, but for all cancer. Elizabeth and Deb are walking for your mother, your sister, your wife, your daughter, your niece, YOUR LIFE…. There is no donation too large or too small. Donations can be made here.
