One of our favorite and most popular event hosts Marco Glorious has recently had the distinction of being nominated for a Daytime Emmy award!

 

Marco is the audience producer of "The Wendy Williams Show," and the show received 2 nominations: Outstanding Talk Show Host, and Outstanding Talk Show Entertainment! This was the show's first ever Emmy nominations and we believe a large part is due to Marco's drive, work ethic and entertainment ability.

 

Even though they didn't walk home with the awards one can only foresee a bright future and many nominations to come!

Wassup party people! It has been a crazy first quarter both personally & professionally. With gigs all over the USA including events in NY, PA, NJ, LA, and DALLAS over the last month, it has been busy to say the least! The highlghts of my private events this month were definitely rocking alongside my long time friend Manj from RDB at a private event out in Long Island and killing 2 parties with my brother Marco G out in Newport Beach, California. It's just different on the West Coast.

On top of all the DJ gigs, I have been brought on to curate the GRAND OPENING of the AIR JORDAN SECTION of the WORTHY STORE in my home town Long Island, NY! I have put together an incredible FREE BBQ & AIR JORDAN EVENT with some major DJ talent including Kast One, Fat Fingaz, Trase, Triple Threat, and Overdose along and Me (of course) to be held on May 30th! And if that wasn’t enough, we just put together another DOPE sneaker & lifestyle expo! After the IMMENSE success of our last Westchester Sneaker Expo in 2014, The Grail Life has officially signed on myself (Sharad) & Manu of SM EVENT GROUP to curate and produce the biggest sneaker and lifestyle expo Westchester has ever seen on September 12th, 2015 at Westchester County Center. This year we are bringing back God’s Favorite DJ CLARK KENT to host along with Hot 97 AM Show Host Laura Stylez to bring some heat for the ladies. We are also bringing out our good friend The Real Suraj from Sneaker Room in NJ to host our Westchester Sneaker Battle! Our DJ line up includes Resident DJ Fatfingaz along with Hot 97’s Kast One, Ted Smooth, Juanyto, Trase and I on the set! Key players from the NY KNICKS & WESTCHESTER KNICKS will also be in attendance to take pictures with the fans, hang out and partake in the days festivities! This past month I got a chance to travel to Atlanta for a beautiful wedding, I also got a chance to share the stage with DJ Pauly D from MTV’s “Jersey Shore," and last but not least I got to catch up with rising star Tori Kelly as she stopped by 94.5FM PST. Taurus Season has returned and I had the privilege to be a part of DJ Red's surprise birthday celebration at Pranna in NYC. As most of you know this dynamic duo is where it all began for me and my DJ career so I was honored to be the man behind the turntables to set the mood for this event. From India, Dubai, back to India to Miami and then Colombia, I am glad to say I am HOME!!! I missed you NYC. From the clubs in Delhi to Cartagena, I have a new appreciation for the musical melting pot that is New York City. We truly bring generations and cultures together here in this great city. Speaking of great cities, I was once again blessed to attend Ultra Music Festival 2015 in my second home, Miami! Ground shaking events at SPACE with Eric Prydz, the Robin Schulz pool party at the Delano and of course MAKJ at Mega Structure were some of my favorite sets from Miami Music Week so definitely check out all the action on their YouTube channel/umftv and join me next year!! Our encore Holi in the city Party at Stage 48 was a day to remember as I got to reconnect with the one and only Naveen Kumar. We surely brought the house down!! With the first quarter of the year already behind us, it’s time to look forward to a packed season of events for 2015. I also want to thank everyone who continues to support my SoundCloud page with over 200K plays worldwide!! Thank you!!! I look forward to wrapping up some new mixes and rocking with you all soon. The busy season just started and I couldn't be more excited to start rocking weddings and nightclubs after a VERY long winter! On Saturday April 25th I had the pleasure of handling back to back Malayelee weddings (afternoon and night) at one of our favorite LI venues, Crest Hollow Country Club. I was the event host for both events and had the pleasure of working with DJUSA veteran and all around great DJ @Chackoflavz !!! Crest Hollow Country Club wasn't ready for the energy we brought! Thank you & congratulations to our awesome clients Lisa & Anil and Jason & Miriam! We wish you the best!

 

I am currently working on my next open format mix tape title “The Hands That Make The World Spin”. This CD will be dope so look out for that in the next few weeks! I also managed to lock in a weekly Friday DJ residency at New York’s 5 star property, The Bryant Park Hotel. The venue inside the lower level of the hotel, CELLAR BAR, is very upscale and draws an amazing weekly crowd. Cellar Bar opened its doors to us on April 17th and we will continue to rock there every Friday! I already brought in Heavy Hitter DJ Precise and I plan on bringing in some really great guest DJ’s to rock with me as things heat up in the summer!
